WINTER
A variety of terrain lies right outside the door of Caribou Mountain Lodge.
A typical day of skiing starts with an hour long tour westward up easy wide trails to the base of Caribou Peak. Then, based on weather, snow and skier ability, you can head off to either Keokee peak or Caribou Peak. |

The variety of terrain assures a comfortable experience for both the beginner as well as the expert. Caribou Peak is located at the top of an open bowl with a 700' vertical drop. It turns into gladed, well-spaced old growth hemlock forest for an additional 700'. For advanced skiers, Keokee Peak offers steep chute and tree skiing and boarding.
There is something for everyone at CML, the snowshoer looking for quiet, ungroomed trails, to snowboarders eager for a challenge in deep untouched powder. |
